Baptisms and Baby Naming, Banns and Weddings

These services are available to Parishioners ( people who live in the Parish or who qualify for the Electoral Roll by reason of regular attendance at services) In the case of weddings they may also be available to people who have a family connection with the Church ( there are restrictions on this claim, and in cases where this applies, it is the responsibility of the applicants to supply satisfactory documentary evidence of the connection) To discuss these services, a member of the Ministry Team is in Church by appointment onlyon the First and the Third Saturday in each month,10.30 to 11.00a.m.. Please contact the Parish Office (444 0760) during the previous week to arrange an appointment.

You should note that there is currently major construction work on the Church site, and parking is limited. A Farmers' market also prevents Weddings taking place on the first Saturday of each month. You should have this in mind when considering your booking.

Funerals

Arrangements for Funerals must be made through a Funeral Director, who will be responsible for co-ordinating the arrangements.
Please note that we are normally only able to take funerals under the provisions of Canon B 38, for people now deceased who resided in the Parish or were on the Electoral Roll
As the parish is in interregnum ( we are without Vicar or Curate ) there is currently only one member of the Parish Ministry Team who has permission to officiate at Funerals. There are also regular users of the Church Building.
This means that it is essential for the Parish Office to have been contacted, and to have given confirmation that Minister and Building are available at the time requested, before other arrangements for Commital, receptions, etc are confirmed.

The Churchyard is closed to burials, Interment of Ashes may be arranged after a Cremation, in consultation with the Ministry Team.
